The Chrysalis | Limited Collection
Butterflies have long symbolized transformation, growth, and rebirth. The metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly remains one of nature's most remarkable acts, a reminder of our own capacity to trust the unseen process of becoming. For that reason, the butterfly has become one of the most beloved symbols in the Onion Skin Journal collection.
"Butterflies show us how we can go within ourselves to dissolve old forms and morph, rebuilding and evolving ourselves." — Anna Cariad-Barrett
Inside are 320 pages of blank onion skin paper, thin and slightly translucent with a durability that outlasts expectations. With time and writing, the pages develop a gentle cockled finish that feels less like wear and more like weathering. The journal begins to look like it has lived.
A reversible insert provides a line guide on one side and a dot grid on the other when needed. The linen cover opens flat and stays there. Smyth-sewn binding. Matching ribbon marker.
